Three words were very important in this project: element, repetition and colour. It was by looking at different types of tiles in Portugal and their colours that I took inspiration to do as many patterns as possible. I tried to focus mostly on the shape and grid which allowed me in a easier way to produce the patterns and repeat elements. I played around with their shapes and formats by trying to keep the same registration of Portuguese tiles.
